Charlene MakaiFounder/Executive Director
Charlene is the Founder and Executive Director of EmpowerHer4Africa, a non-profit organization working to provide education for the most disadvantage girls and skills for women. Charlene is committed to the promotion of sustainable development by empowering girls and women to change their world. Charlene has worked for about 8 years with local and international NGOs that are primarily focused on charity, Youth/ women empowerment, and girl child education. She holds a Master of Science (MSc) in International Relations from University of East London, and a Bachelor of Art in History from University of Maiduguri, Nigeria.
Daniel Lawrence
Daniel LawrenceM & E Officer
Lawrence is a B.Sc holder in Business Management from University of Technology, Yola. He works as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer with Empower Her 4 Africa initiative and his work involves project monitoring and implementation. He has worked on several projects including Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C Intervention project funded by TY Danjuma Foundation, PMTCT HIV prevention and intervention, ENCAP HIV Prevention and Intervention among Adult, Out of School Youths, IDP profiling funded by World Bank, Monitored Orphans/vulnerable children profiling, HBV vaccination as key Anti-microbial Stewardship strategy Etc.
Lanre Oloyede
Lanre OloyedeHead, Media Relations/Admin
Lanre Oloyede is a creative writer and talented journalist. He holds a Post-Graduate Diploma (PGD) and Higher Diploma (HND) in journalism from the prestigious International Institute of Journalism (IIJ), Abuja, an affiliate of University of Maiduguri. He is the Head of Media/ Administration at Empower Her 4 Africa As a social worker and civil right advocate, Lanre has greater zest and interest in humanitarian and community service. His life goal is to use his professional and educational dexterity to impact generations by offering selfless and voluntary community service to the benefit of humanity in any area of Endeavour.
Kurainah Matalo
Kurainah Matalo Social Media Manager
Kurainah Matalo is an expert in Information Communication Technology (ICT) with a work experience that span over 8 years working with reputable organizations in the industry. A graduate of Eastern Mediterranean University Famagusta North Cyprus, Kurainah holds a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science & Information Technology with Second Class Honors (Upper Division). As a volunteer and lover of humanitarian services, She brings her vast experience in ICT to bear in managing all the social media accounts of the NGO.
Zein Tayyeb
Zein TayyebTechnical Adviser, Humanitarian Affairs
Zein Tayyeb is an accomplished humanitarian, communications professional and civil-military coordinator. She has established track record of success in project management, monitoring and evaluation. Tayyeb has experience that span over 10 years in Humanitarian services with the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) where she worked as Humanitarian Affairs Officer and United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), where she served as Education Officer and Field Assistant. She holds a BA in Applied English and Linguistics from University of Jordan and M.Sc. in International Relations from University of East London, United Kingdom.
