Happy International Youth Day 2026! 🎉

Yesterday, Empower Her for Africa joined the global community in marking International Youth Day, observed every 12th of August by the United Nations to celebrate young people and spotlight issues affecting their lives and futures.

We marked the occasion by providing Dignity Kits to 50 vulnerable girls in Gwalada Community, AMAC, Abuja—an initiative focused on promoting dignity, health, menstrual hygiene, and well-being.

A heartfelt thank you to our members, volunteers, partners, and supporters who showed up and contributed generously, both in cash and in kind. Your support made this programme possible and meaningful. ❤️

We are also delighted to share that the programme will be featured on Arise TV this evening. 📺 The exact airing time will be announced in due course.

At Empower Her for Africa, we believe that investing in young people is investing in the future. Together, we can create a future where every girl has the dignity, opportunities, and support she deserves.
